Man Injured After Storm Flipped His RV

One man was injured after the storms hit Davis Tuesday night.

Mike Bannister said he was sitting in his RV when his dog jumped on his lap. The next thing he knew, the storm hit in Davis.

His RV flipped around twice and Bannister was trapped underneath. He said he was stuck and couldn’t move anything but his head.

First responders rushed to save Bannister and his dog. He was taken to the hospital.

Bannister has scars on his face and his hand, and six stitches by his right eye.

Banister said he is sore all over, but is grateful he and his dog both survived.

At one point, he thought it was the end for him.

His RV and many of his belongings were destroyed.

Some people in the community are lending him a helping hand, but Bannister doesn’t know what to do next.
