Crews Contain Apartment Fire In Southwest OKC

Firefighters have contained an apartment fire in southwest Oklahoma City, Tuesday morning.

According to the fire department, crews responded to the fire in the 3700 block of S. Penn. Residents have been evacuated from that building. One person is being treated for smoke inhalation. 

Officials believe the fire started on the first floor before spreading to the balcony and another unit above. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
