Since September, 2015, the Sheriff’s Office and the OSBI have conducted numerous interviews, and gathered numerous records in cooperation with the Attorney General’s Multi-County Grand Jury.
The Sheriff’s Office, the OSBI, and the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner have gathered information and evidence throughout the investigation. With the assistance of the Oklahoma Highway Patrol Tactical Team and the United States Secret Service, the Sheriff’s Office obtained warrants for the arrests of Rebecca and Rex Clark, the boy's aunt and uncle. They were the boy's adoptive parents.
The District Attorney’s office will review the evidence obtained to determine what charges may be filed.
News 9 learned that investigators also obtained search warrants, and began searching the southwest edge of Seminole for the boy's remains Friday morning.
