At least seven people are injured after severe storms dropped tornadoes in northeast Oklahoma.
Damage is widespread in parts of Tulsa and Owasso. People will get a better look Thursday at the damage the tornado caused in Owasso. Several homes in two neighborhoods have damage.
The tornado damaged some roofs of homes in the Ridgeview Estates and Stone Canyon neighborhoods.
Those are just off of 76th street North in Owasso, in Rogers County. A number of trees were uprooted.
Michael Ellis' home in Ridgeview Estates has heavy damage. Six family members, including Ellis' one and a half year old grandson rode out the storm in their storm shelter.
"We felt it. The whole house sort of shook a little bit. You could hear what eventually it was, and I was hoping it wasn't. I was hoping it was hail hitting the roof, but it was boards being ripped off, you know," Ellis said.
Several homes under construction in the Stone Canyon neighborhood also have significant damage. Crews are already on scene to clean up the damage.
