Search Underway For Missing Canadian County Man

A family friend found a Binger man’s SUV abandoned Friday on Interstate 40, west of El Reno. 

Now, that man’s family fears the worst. 

61-year-old Billy Lange was last seen at work Thursday in Hinton. 

Lange’s family reported him missing two mornings’ later. 

Lange’s Chevrolet SUV was found with the keys still in it, and several of his belongs were left inside. 

Canadian County Undersheriff Chris West said a deputy searched the area by plane Tuesday afternoon.

“We’ve had people on the ground, we have had four-wheelers on the ground, and from what I understand, the family’s also had some cadaver dogs that have been out there searching, and so far to no avail,” he said.

Lange’s family has also hired private investigator Darcie Parton-Scoon.
