Law Enforcement Take Polar Plunge In Pauls Valley

Folks in Pauls Valley lucked out Saturday morning with some nice weather.

The Fun Country Polar Plunge was held in Pauls Valley to raise money for the Special Olympics.

Participants were challenged to jump into cold water for pledges.

News 9's Joleen Chaney emceed the event and was tricked into jumping into the water, too.

They jokingly told her last year's announcer made the plunge, and then after she jumped in, she found out otherwise.  

The event was put on by law enforcement agencies around the state.
