Oklahoma City police have identified a home invasion suspect who was reportedly shot and killed by the homeowner during the crime.
According to police, at about 12:54 p.m. Monday, officers responded to the report of a home invasion at an apartment in the 5900 block of S. May Ave. When they arrived, they found one suspect, 26-year-old Bobby Lachez Perkins, lying on the ground outside the home with injuries consistent with homicide.

Perkins was pronounced dead at the scene from a gunshot wound. Officers learned that Perkins and a second suspect kicked in the homeowner’s door and entered the apartment. The homeowner then shot at the suspects, killing Perkins.
The other suspect ran away and is still outstanding. Police have not released a suspect description at this time.
