Police Pursuit Ends With Two Suspects In Custody

Two suspects are in custody after a police chase through Del City.

At about 4:30 a.m. Monday, officers responded to the report of an auto burglary in progress near N.W. 27th and I-44. When they arrived, they located a pickup truck believed to be involved in the burglary. 

Officers attempted to stop the truck, but the driver refused to stop. That's when the chase began. The pursuit lasted about half an hour and ended near S.E. 15th and Bryant. 

With the help of a police helicopter, officers were able to locate two suspects, a man in his 50s and a woman in her 30s. 

Police have not identified the suspects at this time.
