After talking to the Corporation Commission I'm at least convinced that they have this earthquake problem at their top of their list of concerns. I asked how concerned you are about the quakes and injection wells.
David writes, "The earthquakes don't bother me nearly as bad as what fracking is doing to our natural water aquifers!"
From Jason, "Maybe you should read your bible, earthquakes will happen."
Durwyn asks, "Why not move or not allow injection wells within 75 miles or so. Try it see if it slows."
Amy's worried, "I don't think the buildings around here can withstand anything stronger than what they got over the weekend."
And Kammryn's worried too, "Sooner than later we might have a devastating one if they don't find a solution to this problem."
From Larry, "I have worked too hard for my home and property to see it destroyed. We have drilled g or oil in Oklahoma for years. It can be done without the earthquakes."
Rob says, "They are NOT caused by the oil industry. We are on a fault line and fault lines cause earthquakes. You stupid Okies need to go to California and learn about earthquakes from the experts."
I did Rob, and the experts at USC told me they're absolutely being triggered by injection wells.
But Sandra doesn't buy it either, "It's nature. Quit promoting fear in the clueless!"
I'm Kelly Ogle and that's Your 2 Cents.
