The Salvation Army has opened its shelters in Oklahoma City and Cleveland County due to the winter storms.
The shelters in Oklahoma City, 1001 N Pennsylvania Avenue, and Cleveland County, 318 E Hayes in Norman, will provide shelter, food and safety for anyone in need as the organization goes into "emergency winter weather status."
The shelters are also providing warm beds, coats, winter caps, gloves, socks, hot coffee, extra food and special care.
The nonprofit's social services and administrative office are closed Monday.
Donations to The Salvation Army can be made at OKCKettle.org to help support the organization's emergency assistance.
