Man Arrested In Los Angeles In Connection To Pauls Valley Homicide

A man, wanted in connection to a homicide in Pauls Valley, Oklahoma, was arrested Wednesday morning in Los Angeles, California.

According to Pauls Valley police, at about 1:45 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to the report of a body found at a home in the 700 block of N. Oak. Officers arrived and determined this was a suspicious death, so they contacted the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI.)

Authorities are investigating the victim's death as a homicide. They identified 41-year-old Kent Brown as a suspect and issued an arrest warrant for him at about 4 a.m. Wednesday.

Brown was taken into custody on a complaint of first-degree murder by the Los Angeles Police Department.

The victim has not been identified.
