OU Hoops Rises To No. 3 In Polls

Oklahoma basketball is starting to get some national attention. Following a statement 78-55 win over No. 9 Villanova, the Sooners (7-0) are all the way up to No. 3 in this week's polls.

The Sooners are just one of eight remaining undefeated Division I teams. The Big 12, along with Kansas (No. 2) and Iowa State (No. 5), has three programs in the top five of the AP Poll.

This is the highest OU has been ranked since the 2008-09 season when Blake Griffin walked the campus. The Sooners host Creighton on Saturday.
