Police Respond To Shooting At SW OKC Apartment Complex

Police were called to the scene of a shooting at an apartment complex on the southwest side of the metro, Thursday evening.

Officers were called out to the scene at the Oak Creek apartments located in the 5900 block of S. Lee Ave., near SW 59th St. and S. Walker Ave.

News 9 is told one shooting victim was transported from the scene by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.

Police say the victim and suspect got into an altercation before the suspect pistol-whipped and shot the victim. That suspect is in custody at this time.

Neither the victim nor the suspect's identity has been released at this time.
