Thirteen women testified the former Oklahoma City police officer, who served in the Springlake division, abused his authority and attacked them while he was on duty. We learned the jury asked to review Holtzclaw's two-and-a-half-hour video interview again on Tuesday. It is the interview sex crimes detectives conducted with Holtzclaw when they first brought him in for questioning.
It's been a bit of a waiting game at the Oklahoma county courthouse. But Wednesday, a few supporters of the alleged victims are here again hoping this jury reaches a verdict. Many have been asking what is taking so long. And It could be several things. But keep in mind they have 36 counts of rape and other sex crimes to consider in this case. And if they reach a guilty verdict, then there's punishment to consider.
Prosecutors have asked the jury to recommend life in prison and defense attorney Scott Adams asked the key to send him home with his family, saying the case is full of reasonable doubt.
