Are those deals on Black Friday what they appear? It's buyer beware for those Black Friday shoppers.
Here's a shot to your holiday shopping. One-third of items for sale on Black Friday will give no savings to shoppers, according to Wallet-Hub.
Turns out, items will be more expensive Friday on Amazon. For example, if your child wants a "Playmation Marvel Avengers Starter Pack Repulsor" -- the toy will cost almost $45 above its pre-Black Friday price.
As far as the best Black Friday discounts go, you might be surprised. J.C. Penney tops the lists where the average discount will be 68 percent. Next is Kohl's.
As far as items go, books, movies, and music will be discounted the most, followed by video games and toys.
If you want to buy new furniture or jewelry, they likely won't be on sale come Friday.
In a poll by BestBlackFriday.com, almost two-thirds of shoppers say the don't think Black Friday offers the lowest deals.
