The police chief of Tyrone, Oklahoma, was arrested on multiple complaints last week.
According to Leaders and Times Online, Jerry Lynn Schroeder faces eight charges. Four of the complaints are for public official neglecting duty, and the others include disseminating confidential information. He was booked into the county jail in Guymon, and has bonded out on Wednesday, October 21.
Court documents indicate several of the charges are misdemeanors. One count was classified as a felony charge, but the documents did not specify which count that was, Leaders and Times Online reported.
An attorney status hearing is set to take place at 10 a.m. on November 2 in the district court.
