I-44 narrows on Belle Isle bridge near Penn Ave. beginning tonight

The left lane of eastbound I-44 will be closed between Pennsylvania Ave. and Western Ave. from 11 p.m. tonight through Oct. 18 for on-going bridge work. This closure will affect rush hour Tuesday morning and through the week. Drivers are strongly encouraged to locate another route.

I-44 off-ramp to N.W. Expressway remains closed

The eastbound I-44 off-ramp to N.W. Expressway is closed and westbound N.W. Expwy is narrowed under I-44 for on-going bridge work on Belle Isle. Crews are expediting the work and aim to reopen it before the holidays, pending any other issues discovered.

US-77 (Broadway) lanes shift, turn lanes closed at 33rd St. in Edmond; impacts rush-hour traffic

Drivers can expect the following lane closures and shifts at the intersection of US-77/Broadway and 33rd St. in Edmond Drivers can expect lengthy delays and are strongly encouraged plan for extra time or to use an alternate route.

• Northbound US-77/Broadway is narrowed to two lanes and traffic is shifted to new pavement near 33rd St. One northbound Broadway left turn lane to westbound 33rd St. is also closed.
• Southbound US-77/Broadway is narrowed to two lanes between Broadway Court and near 33rd St. Both southbound Broadway left turn lanes to eastbound 33rd St. are also closed, however drivers may still turn left from the left lane of southbound Broadway.
• East and westbound 33rd St. is narrowed to one lane in each direction through the intersection through November. Drivers may still turn right or left.

Meridian Ave. narrows at S.W. 29th St. for resurfacing, widening

Meridian Ave. will be narrowed to one lane in each direction between S.W. 29th St. and just north of S.W. 15th St. beginning Monday for a resurfacing and widening project in partnership with the City of Oklahoma City. The project is expected to continue through summer 2016.
