Person Struck, Killed By Train In NW OKC

Emergency crews are on the scene of a deadly accident involving a pedestrian and a train on the northwest side of the metro.

First responders were called out to the scene near NW 92^nd St. and N. Western Ave., south of Britton Rd., just after 5 p.m.

It is unclear how the accident occurred. The identity of the victim is not known at this time.

Authorities say the train will remain stopped while police investigate. Commuters are advised to find an alternate route.
