Arrest Warrant Issued In Connection With NE OKC Homicide

An arrest warrant has been issued for a man accused of fatally shooting another man in northeast Oklahoma City.

Police are looking for Savortae Dequan Runnels, 20, in connection with the death of Clarence Dickerson, 20. Dickerson was shot Thursday in the Access Medical Center's parking lot, 1918 NE 23 St., police said.

Investigators at the scene told News 9 an altercation between two men happened at the Auto Zone nearby. The altercation continued across the street where the fatal shots were fired. The shooter ran away before officers arrived.

The warrant for Runnels was issued after police received tips identifying him as the shooter.
