Lawton Police Launch Investigation After Body Found In Garage

Lawton Police are investigating after a body was found buried inside a garage.

Police confirm they got a search warrant for a home in the 900 block of SW Monroe Avenue. During the search investigators found an area of freshly disturbed dirt in the garage, and discovered a body.

The Medical Examiner's Office was contacted along with a group from Norman that specialized in recovery of bodies.
