OHP: Two Chickasha Teens Drown In Rock Quarry

The Oklahoma Highway Patrol says the bodies of two teens were recovered from a rock quarry near Cyril in Caddo County.

Around 8:40 p.m. Friday, crews responded to the area of SH 8 and County Road 2680.

According to the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, 18-year-old Denton Walker and a 17-year-old male were swimming in a rock quarry on private property with restricted access. When they were a little over halfway across, they became exhausted. The two went under water and never re-surfaced.
