The seniors at Putnam City High School want to get their school building sold "ASAP," according to an advertisement they posted on Craigslist.
As a senior prank, the Class of 2015 at Putnam City High School listed the school building, located at 5300 N.W. 50th in Warr Acres, for sale on Craigslist on Thursday.
It's definitely a bargain, because the building, which comes with more than 100 rooms, 16 bathrooms, a library, an auditorium and even a brand new athletic facility, will only cost the buyer $2,015.
Steve Lindley, Spokesperson for the Putnam City Public Schools District, said school officials got a laugh out of the prank, but $2,015 is not a good price for the building.
"We appreciated the prank. Sometimes you hear or read about senior pranks that are destructive or disruptive. This one was just clever. District officials all got a laugh out of it, although at the same time we want to be clear that $2,015 is not a good price for the building," Lindley told News 9.
