According to Sam Porter, BGCO Disaster Relief Director, the trained volunteer groups are able to rapidly identify areas that potentially will need served by their debris clean up teams.
In addition, the BGCO debris clean-up teams continue to serve areas devastated by the May 6 storms, including southwest Oklahoma City. The Baptists, which prepared more than 15,000 meals to victims of the May 6 storms as part of its overall relief efforts, offer a wide array of services to storm victims.
