An Ardmore, Oklahoma, man was arrested for the possession and distribution of child pornography on Wednesday.
According to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation, agents with the OSBI and Oklahoma Attorney General's Office, with the help of Ardmore police officers, served a search warrant at a home in the 1400 block of Windsor Drive in Ardmore.
Agents arrested 44-year-old Robert Carter at his home and seized various computer-related items. Last month, authorities said Carter distributed child pornography to an undercover OSBI agent.
The computer-related items found at Carter's home will be sent to the OSBI Digital Evidence Unit for forensic examination. Agents said an initial preview of the items revealed more than 100 images of child pornography.
Carter was booked into the Carter County jail on multiple complaints including aggravated possession of child pornography, distribution of child pornography, and violation of the Oklahoma Computer Crimes Act.
