3.9 Magnitude Earthquake Recorded Near Mooreland

A 3.9 magnitude earthquake was recorded near Mooreland, Oklahoma, early Friday morning.

According to the U.S. Geological Survey, this earthquake was recorded at 2:32 a.m. Its epicenter was located 14 miles east, northeast of Mooreland, and 24 miles east, northeast of Woodward.

It was about four miles deep.

No injuries or damage were immediately reported following this earthquake.
