A small earthquake shook near Guthrie, Tuesday evening.
The 3.0 magnitude quake struck at approximately 6:06 p.m., three miles south of Guthrie, or about 24 miles north northeast of the OKC metro, at a depth of just over three miles.
There have been no reports of damage or injuries associated with this earthquake.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely with quakes at magnitudes 4.0 and higher.
