OKC Man Arrested For Hitting Sister With Skillet On Christmas Day

An Oklahoma City man was arrested after police said he attacked his sister with a skillet during an argument on Christmas Day.

According to police, at about 11 p.m. Thursday, officers responded to the report of a large disturbance between family members at a home in the 1400 block of N.E.31st Street.

A woman told police that she had gotten into an argument with her brother, 26-year-old Ray Love, and that Love hit her in the head with a skillet. Police said the woman's left eye was swollen and had cuts near her eyebrow.

According to police, Love was being held on the ground by the victim's husband when officers arrived. Love was very intoxicated with alcohol, and police said he did not recall ever being in a physical confrontation.

Love was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on a complaint of domestic assault and battery.
