Firefighters Douse Blaze At SW OKC Home

Firefighters successfully extinguished a fire in a garage at a home on the southwest side of Oklahoma City, Monday afternoon.

Crews were called to the scene, located in the 2300 block of S. Harvey Ave., just before 5 p.m.

It is unclear how the fire was started, but authorities say no one was injured. The fire started in the garage of the home and crews were able to limit the damage to the garage.

A preliminary damage estimate is not known at this time.
