For the first time, News 9 heard from a man charged with the murder and near-decapitation of his friend.

Friday, authorities released the 911 tape the suspect, Isaiah Marin, made to confess he killed Jacob Crockett.

Authorities said they received several phone calls about a man carrying a sword and covered in blood. But it was that man, Isaiah Marin, who made the first call and confessed to the killing, something one friend said seems like a bad dream.

Be advised, some of the recording could be disturbing.

Antriana Wright considered herself a close friend.

"It's really hard," said Antriana Wright, friend of both the suspect and victim.

A friend to both the victim, 19-year-old Jacob Crockett, and the man charged with first degree homicide, Isaiah Marin.

"It's a complete shock to know them both and realize that he was capable of doing that to one of his friends," said Wright.

But moments before this security camera image was taken of Marin covered in blood, murder weapon in hand, Marin dialed 911 and admitted what he was capable of.

The Isaiah on the recording was not the Isaiah Antriana said she remembers. So while she tries to remember the other Isaiah, she'll continue to reflect on the memories of the victim.

"Jacob, he was awesome," said Wright.

Antriana also said she wants Marin to know he not only killed a friend, but a brother and son.

Crockett had an identical twin brother and was the son of an Oklahoma Highway Patrolman.

Marin is currently being held at the Payne County Jail without bond.
