An alleged “Wedding Crasher” was arrested for trespassing and public drunkenness at a vineyard in southwest Oklahoma City, Saturday night.
According to Oklahoma City police, two officers were working as security guards for a wedding at Rosebrook Vineyards, located at 3800 S.W. 134th in Oklahoma City. At about 10:50 p.m., the officers said they noticed a man, later identified as 55-year-old Chris Allen Mason, who appeared to be out of place with the rest of the guests. They said they had not seen Mason interact with any of the guests or employees for about an hour.
The officers said the wedding party's parents did not know who Mason was. They said they saw Mason going into the venue and coming out with a beer several times during the night. He was also seen relieving himself in the shrubs outside the venue.
Officers said they made contact with Mason in the parking lot, and Mason appeared to be very intoxicated and unsteady on his feet.
Mason reportedly told the officers that he was at the wedding with someone named “Debbie Stott.” However, officers said they asked around and there was no one named after that at the wedding.
Mason was arrested and booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on charges of trespassing on a private property and public drunkenness. Police said he also had an outstanding warrant for assault and battery on a police officer.
