Oklahoma City police said a woman was robbed when she stopped to help someone whose car appeared to be broken down.
According to police, last Saturday night, the victim was on her way to a grocery store when she saw a dark-colored car that appeared to be broken down near S.W. 36th and Douglas. A woman and two children were outside of the car.
On her way back from the store, the victim said she was flagged down by that woman. When the victim went to get her jumper cables out of her trunk, a man reportedly pushed something into the victim's back and demanded money.
The man also told the victim not to look at him, or he would kill her, according to police. He then followed the victim to her car, where the victim gave him $260.
The victim said right after she handed him the money, the ‘broken down' car left the scene. But she did not see if the suspect got into that car.
