Authorities: 'Armed And Dangerous' Inmate Escapes From LeFlore Co. Prison

According to the LeFlore County Sheriff's office, Tuesday night, Forrest Thomas Devitt escaped from the Jim Hamilton Correctional Center in Hodgen, Oklahoma.

Authorities are looking for an inmate who escaped from a LeFlore County correctional center.

According to the LeFlore County Sheriff's office, Tuesday night, Forrest Thomas Devitt of Sand Springs escaped from the Jim Hamilton Correctional Center in Hodgen, Oklahoma. He is considered armed and dangerous.

Devitt is described as a white male who stands 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs 134 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a snowman tattoo on his left arm, and a “6-4-69” tattoo on his right arm.

Devitt was serving two 10-year sentences out of Tulsa County for robbery with a firearm and first-degree robbery.  Department of Corrections records show is scheduled for release in 2021.
