Police: Man Attacked, Stabbed At Norman Apartment Complex

A Norman man was attacked and stabbed at an apartment complex, and police said the suspect is on the run.

It happened at the Cottonwood Apartments located near 12th Avenue Southeast near Highway 77. Norman police officers responded to the complex after someone called 911 saying they were stabbed.

That call came in around 1:30 a.m.

Norman police know that call came from within the complex. What they don't know is where that stabbing took place.

Officers spent about three hours taking pictures of the scene and gathering evidence. We know a man was taken to the hospital. His condition is unclear right now.

Police said the man is expected to survive. What they need to figure out now is who stabbed him and why.
