Two Injured After McDonald's Arch Crashes Down In Weatherford

A freak accident at the Weatherford McDonald's sent two drivers to the hospital, Wednesday evening.

It happened at McDonald's, located at 105 N. Washington Street in Weatherford.

Interim Fire Chief Mike Karlin said a McDonald's golden arch sign crashed down onto two vehicles in the drive-thru, injuring both drivers.

Karlin says one of the drivers was trapped for about 15 minutes but neither one has any major injuries.

It is unclear what caused the sign to fall.
