Two workers have been transported to the hospital after they reportedly fell from a cellphone tower in Norman, Tuesday morning.
According to Norman police, two cellphone tower workers were climbing the tower at University and Highland Parkway in Norman, when one of them became unconscious for an unknown reason.
Police said both workers then dropped about 100 feet before their harnesses caught them. When officers arrived at the scene, they said both workers were swinging from the tower in their harnesses.
Emergency crews safely brought the two to the ground. However, authorities said both workers were transported to the hospital, suffering from life-threatening injuries.
