Crews On Scene Of Accident Involving Semi On I-235 In NW OKC

Emergency crews are on the scene of an accident involving a semi-truck on Interstate 235 in northwest Oklahoma City, Friday afternoon.

According to authorities, crews are responding to the accident in the inside lane of northbound I-235 just south of N.W. 36th Street. The inside lane is currently blocked.

Crews said the semi-truck jackknifed and struck another car. Firefighters had to extricate the driver from the car. That driver has been transported to the hospital in an unknown condition. He was conscious at the time. 

A News 9 photographer on the scene said the southbound inside lane of I-235 is affected as well, due to the barrier being hit and debris in the roadways.
