OKC Police: Man On Drugs Arrested On Warrant For Child Abuse

Oklahoma City police arrested a man wanted for sexually abusing a child, after officers responded to the report of the man being on drugs. 

According to police, at about 10:30 p.m. on Tuesday, paramedics called officers to a hotel near 23rd and MLK because the suspect, 37-year-old Gary Gates, was having a seizure and they thought he was on drugs.

Police found a vial of what they think was PCP. Turns out, Gates has a warrant out for sexual abuse of a child.

Gates was transported to the hospital to be checked out. After being cleared by medical staff, he was booked into the Oklahoma County Jail on charges of possession of controlled dangerous substance, and sexual abuse of a child.
