Crews Contain Fire At OKC Tire Warehouse

Firefighters have contained a fire at a tire warehouse in west Oklahoma City, Thursday afternoon.

According to the fire department, just after 12 p.m., crews responded to the fire at T&W Tire, located at 25 N. Council.

Bob Mills SkyNews 9 HD flew over the scene. Pilot Jim Gardner reported seeing heavy black smoke. Some of the tires in the yard also caught fire. 

Just before 12:30 p.m., firefighters entered the west side of the warehouse and they were able to contain the fire inside. 

No roads were closed as crews battled the fire. 

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
