New Map Shows Wealthiest Person In Oklahoma And Other States

Who is the wealthiest person in Oklahoma and how do they compare to the wealthiest people from other states?

An interactive map created by real estate blog Movoto shows just how rich the wealthiest person in each state is.

In Oklahoma, the wealthiest person is Harold Hamm, with an estimated net worth of $19.7 billion, putting him just outside the top ten wealthiest people in the United States.

Hamm is the eleventh wealthiest person in America. Washington’s Bill Gates, Microsoft founder, is sitting in the top spot with an estimated $80 billion.

Wal-Mart founder Sam Walton was very kind, making three members of his family the wealthiest in their states. Jim Walton in Arkansas, Alice Walton in Texas and Christy Walton in Wyoming are all estimated to be worth around $35 billion.

The "poorest" rich person in the country, Alaska's Robert Gillam, is worth $700 million.
