Fire crews responded to a house fire in northwest Oklahoma City, Thursday evening.
Officials say the Oklahoma City Fire Department received a call around 8 p.m. Thursday of a house fire in the 6300 block of N.W. 83rd Street.
According to the Oklahoma City Fire District Chief Chad Everett, a woman and her children were outside in their backyard when the mother saw smoke coming from the attic.
Everett said the fire was contained to the attic and estimated the damages at approximately $20,000.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
