Semi Involved In Crash On Westbound I-40 In OKC

Emergency crews are on the scene of a crash involving a semi on the westbound side of Interstate 40 near downtown Oklahoma City, Wednesday afternoon.

The semi jackknifed on the westbound side of I-40, near the I-35 junction, around 1:30 p.m. When crews arrived the cab of the truck was on its side and looked completely destroyed. Miraculously, the driver of the truck escaped the crash unharmed.

No other vehicles were involved in the crash. EMSA was called to the scene as a precaution.

Traffic is slowed to one lane in the area while crews work to clear the scene.
