Four men were arrested after robbing a Mustang pharmacy and leading police on a high-speed chase through the metro, early Saturday morning.
According to the Mustang Police Department, around 4:35 a.m. Saturday, police received a call about a burglary at the Walgreens Drug Store, located at 115 E. State Highway 152 in Mustang. The citizen told police they saw the suspects leave the store in a white vehicle, heading eastbound on E. SH 152.
Officers said they located the suspect vehicle and attempted to make an investigative stop near the 900 block of E. SH 152, but the driver would not stop. Police said they chased after the vehicle from SH 152 to Interstate 240 eastbound, before it crashed into a concrete barricade near Interstate 35 and I-240 in Moore.
According to Mustang police, one suspect was arrested immediately, but three others took off running. With the assistance of the Oklahoma City Police Department – Air 1 and K-9 officers, police said the three other suspects were located and arrested.
Officers said the suspects threw items from the vehicle during the pursuit, including clothing and prescription medications stolen from Walgreens.
The suspects have been identified as Kenneth Wayne Tolbert, 23, Hylon Alford-Solomon, 23, James Richard Wooden, 24, and Christopher Allen Williams Jr., 23. All four suspects are from Fort Worth, Texas.
