The IRS says thousands of e-mails Congress wanted to investigate were accidentally destroyed. I'm quite certain that wouldn't work for us taxpayers. Here's what you had to say.
Dan from Rosedale first:
"Those in charge at the IRS need to answer for this, and the old "dog ate my homework" excuse won't cut it. And anyone in the Government, including the President, that knew of these activities needs to be ousted from office immediately."
Brian wrote:
"As an IT professional, I can say without a doubt the IRS is lying."
Ricky from Edmond:
"Even moderately sized private businesses have off-site locations for backups so you know the IRS absolutely has server redundancy"
Reva in Asher:
"How come the FEDS can find ours??"
And Debra in Blanchard added:
"It's ridiculous they think we are that stupid."
Tom said:
"The IRS has committed a crime, the felony of "willful tampering with evidence in a criminal investigation."
Susan wrote:
"people working in the IRS, senate, house, white house, epa and many others believe they are above the law."
From Kelly:
"And the crooks will get off without even a slap on the hand."
Finally, Ralph from Norman suggested:
"The NSA has them - bring Snowden back - I bet he can find them in a matter of seconds."
