An Oklahoma State football player was stabbed and robbed on Monday evening in Stillwater. Sources tell News 9 the player is junior wide receiver Cameron Hunter.
Police confirmed a 21-year-old reported being stabbed in the abdomen and right arm before being pulled into a truck, robbed and dumped a different location between 4:30 and 9:30 Monday night. He was then hospitalized, treated and released.
SPD said the investigation is ongoing.
Hunter is a transfer from Air Force with two years of eligibility remaining at OSU. He's a product of Denton Guyer and was a high school teammate of quarterback J.W. Walsh, defensive end Jimmy Bean and former Cowboy wide receiver Josh Stewart.
