OKC Police To Host Memorial Service For Fallen Officers

The Oklahoma City Police Department will host its annual memorial service Friday afternoon to honor fallen officers from 1895 to present.

The memorial service will take place at 2 p.m. outside on Colcord Drive, on the south side of the police department's main headquarters building.

This event will follow the State Memorial Service, which is scheduled to take place at 10 a.m. at the Department of Public Safety complex, located at N.E. 36th and MLK Blvd.

A reception will be held after the OCPD memorial service in the memorial room, on the third floor of the headquarters building.

The event is open to the public and will last about one and a half hours.
