Four Oklahoma Sooners and four Oklahoma State Cowgirls were named to All-Big 12 women's basketball teams on Thursday.
For the Sooners, Aaryn Ellenberg was a unanimous selection to the All-Big 12 First Team, senior guard Morgan Hook was named to the second team, while senior center Nicole Griffin and junior guard Sharane Campbell were honorable mentions.
Oklahoma and Baylor led the league with four All-Big 12 members.
Ellenberg earned first team honors for the third consecutive season. The Las Vegas native was the league's second leading scorer, averaging 18.7 points, and became Oklahoma's second all-time leading scorer this season.
For Oklahoma State, Tiffany Bias was a unanimous selection to the First Team. The Cowgirl senior was also chosen as a member of the league's all-defensive team, making her the first OSU player to ever achieve the distinction.
A unanimous selection by the conference's head coaches, Bias currently ranks eighth among league players in scoring at 14.4 points per game and second in assists per contest (6.1 apg). Additionally, her 2.2 steals per game trail only teammate Brittney Martin among league players and she is fourth in the league in assist-turnover ratio.
Bias is averaging a conference-leading 36.5 minutes per game and has played all 40 minutes in 12 of the squad's 18 league games.
Ellenberg and Bias were joined on the first team by Baylor's Nina Davis and Odyssey Sims, Iowa State's Hallie Christofferson, Kansas center Chelsea Gardner, TCU's Zahna Medley, Texas forward Nneka Enemkpali, and West Virginia's Asya Bussie and Bria Holmes.
Hook, an honorable mention last season, averaged 11.3 points and 5.0 assists as Oklahoma's point guard. The senior hit game winners in the final seconds of back-to-back games to lead OU to victories when it was without Ellenberg for two games in February.
Griffin was an honorable mention for the second straight season. The 6-foot-6 center scored 10.4 points per game and led the Sooners with 5.9 rebounds per game.
It was Campbell's first All-Big 12 honor since 2012 when she earned the Sixth Man Award and a spot on the All-Freshmen Team. Campbell finished the regular season as OU's second-leading scorer and rebounder, averaging 12.4 points and 5.2 boards.
Oklahoma, the No. 6 seed, faces 3-seed Texas Saturday, March 8, at 8:30 p.m. in a Big 12 Championship Quarterfinal at Chesapeake Energy Arena in Oklahoma City.
Martin, a sophomore from Syracuse, Utah, was named an honorable mention all-conference pick as was junior Liz Donohoe for the Pokes.
A Big 12 All-Freshman Team selection a year ago, Martin is averaging 11.7 points and 7.9 boards per game. Donohoe was tabbed as an honorable mention pick for the third year in a row after averaging 11.7 points and 6.4 points per game during the regular season.
Freshman Roshunda Johnson was one of five players named to the league's all-freshman team. The Little Rock, Ark., native is averaging 5.0 points and 2.6 rebounds per game. Her selection marks the third year in a row OSU has had a member of the all-freshman team, with Donohoe and Martin appearing on the squad the past two seasons.
