One Dead, One Injured In Chickasha Shooting

Chickasha police are investigating a possible murder and suicide attempt in the 3400 block of S. 25th Street.

Police were called to the home around 1:38 p.m. Tuesday after receiving reports that a man had allegedly shot and killed his estranged wife. after officers to respond to a shooting.

When police arrived, they found two shooting victims, one dead and the other injured with a gunshot wound to the head. The second victim was transported to Grady Memorial Hospital in critical condition.

No names are being released at this time. Police believe the shooting was an isolated incident.
