Another earthquake shook up residents in the Stillwater area Sunday evening.
The United States Geological Survey (USGS) recorded a 3.1 magnitude earthquake, just after 6 p.m., less than a mile east of Stillwater, or about 51 miles northeast of the Oklahoma City metro, at a depth of about a mile.
This latest earthquake was the sixth recorded in the state on Sunday. A 2.7 magnitude quake shook near Perry just after 1 a.m.
Three earthquakes were recorded near Langston on Sunday morning. The first, a 3.0, struck at 1:23 a.m. The second, a 3.5, struck at 3:15 a.m. The third, a 2.5, was recorded at 8:30 a.m. Then, around 2:10 p.m., a 2.6 magnitude earthquake rumbled near Medford.

Two other earthquakes shook near Stillwater on Saturday as well. No damage or injuries have been reported with any of Saturday's or Sunday's earthquakes.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans.
