A teenager charged with covering up the murder of his friend's grandparents is behind bars again, this time for a different crime.
Dustin Martin received a 10 year deferred sentence for his part in the 2011 murder of David and Rose Garrick in their Midwest City home. Now, District Attorney David Prater filed a motion on Wednesday to accelerate that sentence.
Martin was arrested for stealing $200 from a woman who had just gotten it out of an ATM in Moore. Martin turned himself into police last week.
In 2011, Martin pleaded guilty to arson, conspiracy and accessory to murder after he allegedly helped the Garrick's grandson, Kyle Smith, buy gasoline and set their home on fire after they were murdered.
