Police are on the lookout for a suspect who took off on foot after a high-speed chase that ended in the parking lot of a grocery store in downtown Oklahoma City, Saturday afternoon.
The suspect is still at large at this time. Police say the chase ended in the parking lot of the Wal-Mart Supercenter, located on Reno Ave., between Greenfield Center Dr. and MacArthur Blvd.
According to scanner reports, the suspect's vehicle crashed into multiple cars in the parking lot before the driver finally bailed out. Police are searching the area at this time. One witness on scene tells News 9 he saw the suspect running through the store.
The chase began as a routine traffic stop near SW 3rd St. and MacArthur. According to police, the chase started when it was determined that the suspect had a warrant out for his arrest. Police have not said why the warrant was issued.
Police have not released a description of the suspect.
